Simple Everyday Lessons -3

Was walking with my mom to visit my grandparents today morning. I usually avoid the main road as it is generally congested in the peak hour traffic. The other route we take is a little longer than the main road route, and I usually enjoy walking in that road as it is shady and free from pollution(human, noise, air etc etc). At a distance, I saw a person coming in a Kinetic Honda. He had stopped it and looked like waiting for someone. All of a sudden I saw him get down very differently from the vehicle, I realized then that he had no legs and was still confident enough to drive on his own and more than that was able enough to get it repaired himself and continue his drive. Very simple and may be a common incident. But it somehow struck places in my heart. Most of us have everything in life, yet crib for something we don't have, while God takes off potential things from a few, yet they are happy and contended with life and have a self drive in themselves to achieve more and keep moving. Alas! This is world!

My Favourite Teachers

Long time wish to blog about my ALL time favourite Teachers from School and College

Teachers I liked the most at School
My UKG teacher -Mrs. Sujatha. (She is simply awesome. She created the first impression of a teacher to me :)
Mrs Sarada Vasudev - Another person whom I respect a lot
Mrs Rama - My Math teacher. She was one of the reasons why I developed a passion for Math.
Mrs Anusha - I like for so many reasons to mention here.
Mrs Nappinai - She was more of a friend to me than anyone else at school.

B.E - The best to my thought
1st sem Computer Lab - Mr, Janardhanan - My God, I had never seen a person with so much determination and passion. He made everyone feel so comfortable in the first year at college. Even the students who had the remotest idea of what a computer is , were benefitted a lot because of him.

2nd Sem - One of the bad semesters. No one comes to my mind to be standing out

3rd Sem - Dr. Uma Maheswari

4th Sem - Dr. Ranjani Parthasarathy

5th Sem - Mrs. Vijaya

6th Sem - Not too great a sem

7th Sem - Dr.Narayanasamy

8th Sem - Absolutely None

Random Thoughts - Simple Everyday Lessons - 2

Beauty Lies Internally !

Happened to see a lady in the office rest room one morning. It was around 9AM in the morning, roughly 30 mins after a typical day generally begins at office. She came with a huge kit and I was wondering what she was doing. She started off a whole make over session. Just thinking about what she was doing, I went back to work. Couple of hours later, I saw her again repeating the whole procedure again. I realized it was a routine ting for her, to keep herself neat, fresh and "beautiful" every couple of hours. This became a constant visual treat to me. One fine day, I was late to start from office. I had to take a BMTC bus and was hence walking towards the bus stop. While I just got out of the office campus, I saw her (as fresh as she could be in the morning) waiting outside for someone. I got into a bus and was waiting in a traffic signal. There was a card next to the bus and the same lady was in it. A physically challenged person was trying to move towards the vehicle. He was basically a beggar trying to get something from the folks to eat for the day. The card windows that were open till that moment instantly went up on seeing him and the face that was made up so beautifully all through the day , suddenly turned disgusting!

Seeing this a wonderful quote stuck my head "BEAUTY LIES INSIDE U , DON'T LOOK FOR IT OUTSIDE"

Self Consciousness and Environmental Awareness!

It was a typical weekday morning. Was hurrying to take the shuttle at 8AM. Was walking out of the house towards the main road. There are a plenty of independent houses in ou colony and most of them have a dog(in the real sense of it). Most of the times, I get irritated when I see a dog bark or litter around on the streets going behind people. In fact most of the times, it has been a painful thing to bear when all of them in the colony get together to share their happiness or sorrow. The owners, most of them I have seen, have the habit of taking their dogs for a morning walk. They eat what they find interesting to them on the roads and answer Nature's call. I saw this dog in our street on that morning, walking with his owner. He saw a cover in the middle of the road and very neatly used it for his nature's call. Was astonished for a moment, but quickly understood how sensible the five sensed could get. Each of us should try to learn the simplest of things from the smallest of incidents that happen in everyday life ! Have a great day!

Finally !!!!!

It is really a wow effect to see the CSK team lift the IPL trophy. Dream come true after 3 long years. Good show by Dhoni and his men. What a captain he is !!!! :) Really amazing. Very inspiring to see the pressure he withstands and the style he pursues in getting the best of talents out of the young players. Whenever we look back at CSK in IPL 3, we can only think of team work there. We really cannot point to one single guy winning a match. All of them have poured in their contributions to lift the CUP ! Raina- Truly an inspiration to the rest of the players. He has demonstrated that he can be a good all-rounder and contribute immensely to team India. WOW... Definitely this guy should have deserved the Man of the tournament award. Who else could have demonstrated a better batting, bowling, fielding and a captaincy all in a single tournament. I personally feel that young players like him should be definitely rewarded for the good work they put in rather than rewarding the same players( so called legends) again and again ! VJ - He has an amazing potential and concentration on the ball, be it blasting it to a sixer or taking a catch. Must go great heights once he starts playing for the Indian team. Ashwin - a potential spin bowler for India, ( thats how most of them addressed this guy). Again a great potential hidden inside that has to be brought out and rewarded! This doesn't stop with just the CSK players. Ojha,Tiwari and many more to mention. In a nut shell , team India with young blood and a very directed, calm and focussed captain like Dhoni can reach heights in International cricket. Lets wait to watch such a team play and win laurels for India. Cheers!!!!!!

Happy Ugadi!

Courtesy - Heart2Heart Team :
True Ugadi (New Year's Day) is the day when man gives up bad qualities, fills his heart with love and takes to the path of sacrifice. Do not limit the celebration of Ugadi to merely putting on new clothes and partaking of delicious items. Today you may wear a new shirt, but how long will it remain new? Tomorrow it becomes old. Today's newspaper becomes a waste paper tomorrow. Our life is like a newspaper. Once you have finished reading a newspaper, you do not like to read it again and again. You have been given this birth which is like a newspaper, and have gone through varied experiences of pleasure and pain. Enough is enough. You should pray, "Oh God! You have given me this 'newspaper' and I have gone through the experiences of this life. I don't want to have another birth."

Why blame others , when you are at fault ???

Imagine a world , where there are no blames, accuses etc etc. How enjoyable and worth living such a life would be ? Is it really correct to blame someone simply because you have lost something or you are depressed ? In fact, as far as I understand, if someone is really depressed or lost something really worth millions, they should not be in a state of putting the fault on someone else. Instead they should be looking at how to overcome the problem they are in and make themselves happy. This kind of a situation seems to be occurring frequently in families across generations. What people seem to forget is, whatever happens, life has to go on. As I have mentioned earlier, life is too short to enjoy and achieve laurels. If we start using it for blaming others and spending it in a useless way, we would end up being in depression or speaking ill of others or lamenting over facts. So lets start looking at life in a different way. Just ignore people who are not important to you in life. Let life take its own path for them, Do not intervene their path, instead focus on how you can keep yourself happy and make it a example for many others to look at and cherish ! Happy day !
Finally, here I am penning down my related thoughts about the most spoken movie in the recent past - VTV! It was poetic to watch and enjoy. Worth the ticket price and the difficulty of getting the tickets. As usual , a different movie by Gautam and a wonderful choice of all the artists in the film. Manoj Paramahamsa - wow!!! This is what I get to say when i hear his name nowadays or watch VTV. What a camera ! Amazing ! I think the way the movie is taken adds value to it. A realistic story, unlike the typical filmy kind. What i liked the most in this movie was, it seemed to reflect a real story. It may be nice to watch a movie where after all the fights/confusions, everything ends well. But in reality, does the same happy ending happen to everyone of us ? Definitely not, only a very few of us dream of something real and make it happen. Most of us , take life just as it comes and very easily seem to overcome whatever happens. But what we might have to think is a very simple fact. Are we playing with someone else's emotions ???? Are we trying to satisfy one person at the cost of another's feelings, expectations and emotions ? If that is the case, I think we are committing the most dreadful sin in this world. What right does one person have in another person's life ? Are we not suppose to think and act instead of blindly taking some action ? Things would just go fine till on some day , we meet the person whom we have just thrown away. One simple fact that we need to remember is, life is a drama, world is a stage and we are just actors. The drama is so short lived. Why should we ever think of hurting someone in this short span ? Lets live our life with satisfaction and make sure we atleast make 3 people smile in a day for some happy cause!
