Plethora of Thoughts!

Most of us , at some point of time in our life so far would have definitely faced something that would have made us feel bad or ignored or would have potentially brought us down. It could be as simple a reason as unable to buy something you liked so much or something huge like the loss of a very near and dear person in life. A very distressful feeling comes into your mind and occupies your heart till time plays its own magical role in bringing out the realization of that loss. Ok, now getting onto relating loss to pain, pain can be physical or emotional. Physical pain is very evident and can be eventually cured. Emotional Pain is something that can take a while to go off your mind. Sometimes, it may seem realistic, while at other times it may sound stupid. I like this Thirukural for several reasons in the same context.
"Yaakaavar aayinum naakaaka kaavakaal,
Soggapar sol izhukkupattu"
What a wonderful and truthful thought from Thiruvalluvar! How many of us really go back and look at what we did on a particualr day ? How many of us realize, we are hurting someone knowingly or unknowingly ? How many of us really care to correct ourselves? The most common answer I get in most instances is a very simple one. Why should we even bother about any of the above questions if we understand that this not a botheration for the others ? People, one simple thing to realize for a happy living is self -realization. We should come out of the FOLLOW mindset and try to transform ourselves to the LEAD mindset. It is very easy to follow, while it is very very difficult to lead by example. Simple lesson is "Standing out in a crowd for a good reason is what makes someone successful!"
